    A special exhibit of works from the GAP permanent collection will be on display in the downstairs galleries at the GAP Museum in the Dressler Center at 214 S. Harrison Ave., Somerset, PA.  Visitors can expect to see the ceremonial 20-foot long red "Mouse Wedding" presented to the Guild for its inaugural event by the Chinese Papercutting Association.  Small devotionals, created in monasteries and convents during the mid-18th century will be among the antique and contemporary treasures on view.

    • Main Line Arts Center, Haverford, PA

    GAP member Mindy Shapiro is teaching a class at the Main Line Arts Center, 746 Panmure Rd., Haverford, PA.  The class is entitled "Papercutting: Reviving a Polish, Jewish and Mexican Folk Art".

    • Sherrill Kenwood Library, Sherrill, NY

    Selected works by Dave Reichard, GAP Board member, will be on display on the Community Art Wall at the Sherrill Kenwood Library.  In addition to papercuttings, the exhibit will also include pen and ink and colored pencil works.  In fact, Dave has done a papercutting of colored pencils:

    Bianca Levan will participate in a one-night event to celebrate the closing of Wonderland SF.  The whole space will become a gallery for this occasion.

    GAP Board member Jerise Fogel will open her studio to the public on June 8th as part of the Uptown Arts Stroll, which runs from May 28 to June 30th.  Jerise's studio is located at 615 West 186th St.  Art materials will be available for people to try papercutting.

    • Throckmorton Theatre, Mill Valley, CA

    Bianca Levan, a member of the GAP Board of Directors, will present a solo exhibition in the Crescendo Gallery at Throckmorton Theatre, 142 Throckmorton Ave., Mill Valley, CA 94941.  An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 5-7 pm.
