Biography: I am primarily a silhouette artist, having made portraits for almost 35 years. I have also worked as a biochemist with EPA for 18 years, and the papercutting helped put one son through college. My husband and I go to toy shops, clothing stores, bazaars, and 18th century craft show, doing over 1000 portraits per year.
Most recently, I taught silhouetting to members at the Jane Austen Society AGM in Philadelphia, and will soon have Austen related silhouettes on their website as well as mine. I am available to give talks on the history of silhouettes, and teach workshops.
